King County Washington DUI / DWI defense attorney Scott Wonder who focuses on tenacious and aggressive defense of DUI / DWI and alcohol-related criminal and traffic offenses. Mr. Wonder was instrumental in attaining rulings in King County, Washington, that resulted in suppression of hundreds of breath tests because of inadequate breathalyzer maintenance. He was the first lawyer in Washington to get a judge to rule that Washington's 2004 amendments to the state's DUI / DWI evidence statutes were unconstitutional.
Snohomish and Kittitas County driving while intoxicated lawyer, Scott Wonder, has experience defending commercial driver's license holders, commercial airline pilots, others who hold licenses from the FAA and merchant mariners. Before returning to the Pacific Northwest in 1989 and beginning his practice as drinking and driving defense counsel, Mr. Wonder worked as government contracts and licensing counsel for one of Silicon Valley's leading law firms, as the general counsel and acting vice-president of sales for a software company and as an attorney for one of Seattle's preeminent law firms -now Preston Gates & Ellis - handling technology licensing for Microsoft Corporation. Since 1994, Mr. Wonder has been a principal at the law firm of Goddard Wetherall Wonder & Padula, which is located in Bellevue, Washington. He is constantly honing his skills as a DUI / DWI defense lawyer.
Prior to becoming a Washington DUI / DWI defense attorney, Scott E. Wonder graduated cum laude from Claremont Men's College in honors political science and economics, where he was also awarded the esteemed Arco internship. He also graduated from the University of Washington School of Law. While a student, he won awards for outstanding grades in Constitutional Law and Contracts and he earned the prestigious Judson Falknor upper-class moot court competition. He also received his MBA from the University of Washington.
Mr. Wonder is a fourth generation Washingtonian who was the youngest Eagle Scout in Washington and a commencement speaker at Eisenhower High School in Yakima, Washington.
