About Nevada DUI Defense Lawyer Walter B. Fey

Walter Fey graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and was with them for 6 ½ years on active duty with the Air Force as a Weapons Systems Officer. He is a decorated Vietnam veteran and after an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force, he went to the Nevada School of Law at Old College, and graduated cum laude in 1986. In 1987, he was then allowed to practice in both California and Nevada, and to the Federal District Courts of the Eastern District of California and the District of Nevada. In 1988, he was admitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior in becoming a Nevada DUI lawyer, Mr. Fey was an associate from 1987 until 1991 in the Law Offices of Calvin R.X. Dunlap, and in 1991 went to create his own DUI law firm. In 1995, Mr. Fey was a Deputy Public Defender for Washoe County, Nevada, which dealt with hundreds of criminal and DUI defense cases. In 1999, Mr. Fey re-entered into private practice, creating a DUI law firm which primarily focused on the defense of those accused of driving under the influence (DUI) in Reno and the surrounding cities and counties.
